More than one hundred famous textile enterprises in Weifang have established bamboo fiber standards

On July 25, the China Cotton Textile Industry Association and the China Home Textiles Association jointly organized the Tianzhu Industry Link Meeting in Weifang, marking the official start of the development of bamboo fiber home textiles. Over 100 representatives from companies across the upstream and downstream segments of the Tianzhu industry chain attended the event, showing strong interest and commitment to this emerging sector.

Bamboo fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber produced through advanced high-tech processes using bamboo as the primary raw material. It retains the natural properties of bamboo, such as antibacterial, UV-resistant, breathable, and cooling effects. In addition, it offers the advantages of viscose fiber, including excellent moisture absorption and release, a soft hand feel, good drape, ease of dyeing, and vibrant color retention. These features have earned it the titles of “healthy fiber of the 21st century” and “green fiber,” making it a rising star in both domestic and international textile markets.

The Tianzhu Industry Alliance was formed to strengthen collaboration among companies along the bamboo fiber supply chain. In recent years, the industrialization and promotion of bamboo fiber and its downstream products have not only brought significant economic returns but also contributed positively to society. With growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly materials, the alliance aims to further drive innovation, improve product quality, and expand market presence. This initiative is expected to play a key role in shaping the future of the textile industry with a focus on environmental responsibility and consumer health.
