Export shoe enterprises need to guard against forgery origin identification

Before August 30th, the Chaozhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found three cases of counterfeit origins in the inspection and inspection of export footwear. For example, on July 15, a foreign trade company produced a batch of plastic slippers and sandals in Chaozhou, totaling 32052 pairs. The total value of goods is 62,849.76 U.S. dollars, which is exported to Venezuela. The production area is identified as "Hechoen Malasia" (Spanish is made in Malaysia). The person in charge of the production company reported that the bottom of the shoes was provided and required to be affixed by the customer because the company's interviews and quality inspectors did not understand Spanish and caused misuse. In addition, during the supervision of the production process, it was also found that one finished shoe intended for Venezuela was affixed with the “Hechoen Malasia” origin label provided by the customer. The inspection supervisors ordered the site to tear up the logo of the origin of the violation and preach the relevant regulations to the company.

In this regard, the Chaozhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminded footwear export enterprises to effectively improve their legal awareness and foreign trade business level; while paying great attention to product quality, safety, health, and environmental protection projects in line with the requirements of the national technical standards, they also strictly guarded against fraudulent activities such as counterfeiting The behavior; for the content specified in the logo designed or provided by the customer, must be strictly reviewed and rejected the customer's improper request, beware of violations.
